Zachary's baptism

We had the most beautiful day for Zachary's baptism! (Or his baptized-birthday- as Jenna called it that morning!) It was wonderful to have family and friends with us. And Zachary was super cute! And he really paid attention and interacted in his ceremony. Jenna and her friend Gabby got to help hold the oil for Father as he blessed and applied it on Zachary's chest and forehead. It was really great and perfect! We are very Blessed!

Lake house fun!

Scott's parents have a lake house that we are very lucky to enjoy! Jenna was excited to bring her fishing pole out and give it a try. She was practicing before we left and is a pro at casting and reeling! We let her put it in the water a couple of times- but she was just as happy to do it on-land. She loves to be just like her uncle Mikey!

Swim class complete!

Jenna just finished her first year of swim lessons! And I must say that she definitely earns the award for the most improved! (if they gave one!) She did so good! She is laying back in the water, blowing bubbles and putting her face in. She was practicing in the bath last night and had her head under for about 5 seconds! I was ready to go in after her!! It has been really nice and making the summer great fun!

She is in the purple suit. This was during lessons- having some fun in the mushroom- or the "marshmallow" as she calls it.

4th of July

We had a great 4th! We hope everyone reading this did too! We went to 3 sets of fireworks the last set was this weekend. Zachary seemed to be a big fan! His eyes were big and bright through them! It has been a really great summer. It is going by way to fast! We are trying to savor up every minute!

Jenna has been taking swim lessons and is having a great time. We have been enjoying going to the pool with some new friends and just hanging out around our town. We are looking forward to a visit down to my parents' here in the next couple of weeks and then we are off for a vacation in Kentucky with family. Scott is looking forward to some time off too. We are looking forward to it for him also. Thanks for checking in!

Uggg- Keep up the blogging!!!

Sorry! I have just been having way to much fun! The kids are doing soo good. Jenna is just maturing every day and Zach is growing before our eyes.... he is sooo sweet! Smiling all the time and even a chuckle here and there! Jenna is soo freaking funny! I am sure all of you with kids know how hilarious kids are- but it is so hard to keep a straight face with her! From her t-ball practices, to flashing people at the mall, to her ice cream Santa beard. That girl! Here are some pictures of our past few adventures....

This was our first sprinkler time of the year- it was cold! But she was a trooper!


We went to a Children's Museum she loved painting her face.... kind of "hobo"-like.


This is a picture from the Museum too- it is Jenna, she smashed her body into one of those things that you could put your hand in and it would move the needle like things in the form of your hand... well they had a huge full body one... if you look hard- you can even see her smiling! It was yet another hysterical move by her! Gotta love every minute with that girl!!!


Father's Day! What a handsome daddy of two!! I love you honey!


T-Ball, she did good the first practice, but the second practice she chased the ball after she hit it, instead of running to first, and she was much more interested in the dirt and the other kids rather than listening to the coaches... I have to get her on video- it is the funniest thing ever!!!


We went to the zoo with my parents and my sister, it was the most perfect zoo day ever!


Scott's parents have a lake house- this is Zach's first time there- and he was a Cub's fan with his daddy! - Which, I'm a Sox fan... so it's hard... but very cute!! I love my boys!

We have been keeping busy but yet relaxing, trying to enjoy every bit of this wonderful life and summer! We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the season too! Thanks for checking in on us! Love to you all!

Back in the saddle...

School's out for summer!!!! (you know the song...) Well I finished my 6 day tour of duty. It went well. I must say that it was kind of nice to be back with my colleges and the kids were real sweet- probably because it was the end of the year! But I definitely missed hanging out with Jenna and Zachary! I kept thinking- I wonder what Jenna is doing... my little buddy. But they did so good! Thanks to some great help from Scott's mom, my mom and my sister. It was really great. But now I am ready to party!! Summer '08!!

Here is a video- thought we'd try this out.... Jenna loves to play Hop Scotch- or just hop! And I've been trying to subliminally teach her the alphabet! :)
