Where does time go???

Hello Blog! I am sorry you have been so neglected! Just like Fishy at home! Sorry Fishy!

Zachary is almost 1! According to the timer at the bottom of this blog and to my calendar- exactly a week away! Feb.26th... and boy has he changed since I have last been posting. Brings tears to me! But then I think about the temper on him!!! And boy does he have one! And so short on patience! I think- typical boy!! He is so funny! He throws everything. Of course he is always getting into things he shouldn't... DVD's, magazines, books (not that I don't want him reading- he just eats them!!!) Jenna's toys, TV trays, the toilet (one of his nick names is Toilet- he loves it so much!) the list goes on and on!!! And if we say his name and he is into one of those things- if it is throwable- it is thrown! But a very wimpy throw- more like a wrist flick- but still pretty funny! Today though I got an image of him being Jenna's age and throwing things- ewww. Better nip that in the butt fast! (or is it nip in the bud...)

Jenna is still still her great self! She says "actually" all the time- to tell you "actually" how things should be. She has quite the opinion and bossiness to her! I am worried for her in a few years to be bossing me and everyone around- better nip that too!! She has been involved with ballet- her first recital is in mid March. She is dancing to "The Good ship Lollipop" too cute! We are all looking forward to it!

And of course we are all looking forward to some better weather! A couple of days there- really reminded us of what we have been missing out on! We walked and rode bikes and played with neighbor friends! Bring on Summer!!!! I guess I will take Spring too!;) XOXO

It's been FOR-EV-ER!

Hi! Sorry it has been so long. Althoug I wonder if anyone is even still checking? Monica?? :)

We are doing good! Enjoying Fall... is it even still around? Jenna and Zach are wonderful. Jenna is totally 3 and a half, and Zachary is 8 1/2 months old. Jenna just amazes everyone. She has a new sitter and she can't stop telling us how good and polite Jenna is... I wonder where she got it?

Zach is doing good too. Although his teeth have been making me just want to hang up the towel with him! (Terrible, I know!) But seriously - it has been hard! Poor guy! Just recently I was thinking..."What am I going to do with this baby!" and the next day- his front right tooth was in... poor guy! Bad Mommy!

I will post some pictures soon. I am at work and I don't have any here. But I'll get some from Halloween and some with some warm clothes on. The last post is from our Kentucky vacation... wish I was still there! Or at least in the warmth!

Annual Family Vacation to Kentucky

It has been a while! Opps! I have just been trying to spend all my time doing all the things I meant to do on my maternity leave/summer vacation! And ohh... didn't get much done... but fun was definately had! We got back a few weeks ago from our annual family vacation to Kentucky. It was the best yet! Jenna was a swimming fool! She did so good! Even jumped in and went under! It seemed like forever for her to come up though! But she was all smiles! She had a great time with her cousins and her Auntie Megan (her sleeping buddy- sorry for the T position Megan!) The weather was so wonderful! Especially for Kentucky in August! Zachary's baptism

We had the most beautiful day for Zachary's baptism! (Or his baptized-birthday- as Jenna called it that morning!) It was wonderful to have family and friends with us. And Zachary was super cute! And he really paid attention and interacted in his ceremony. Jenna and her friend Gabby got to help hold the oil for Father as he blessed and applied it on Zachary's chest and forehead. It was really great and perfect! We are very Blessed!

Lake house fun!

Scott's parents have a lake house that we are very lucky to enjoy! Jenna was excited to bring her fishing pole out and give it a try. She was practicing before we left and is a pro at casting and reeling! We let her put it in the water a couple of times- but she was just as happy to do it on-land. She loves to be just like her uncle Mikey!

Jenna just finished her first year of swim lessons! And I must say that she definitely earns the award for the most improved! (if they gave one!) She did so good! She is laying back in the water, blowing bubbles and putting her face in. She was practicing in the bath last night and had her head under for about 5 seconds! I was ready to go in after her!! It has been really nice and making the summer great fun!

She is in the purple suit. This was during lessons- having some fun in the mushroom- or the "marshmallow" as she calls it.
